MEETING LOCATION 

            This month’s meeting will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at the UFT Headquarters, 2500 Halsey Street in the Bronx. Meeting begins at 5:00 p.m. Food and beverages will be served. Business Representative Benjamin Arana will report on what is happening in our industry.  President Antonio Abreu will give his monthly report. Our guest speakers will be Local 3 Apprentice Director George K. Schuck and Edwin Napoleoni, member of the 2010 A Construction Contract negotiating committee.

              The S.I.E.S 4TH ANNUAL BLOOD DRIVE will be held at this months meeting.  The drive will start at 3pm and end at 7pm.  The New York Mets will be co-sponsoring this blood drive. Every eligible blood donor will receive 2 tickets to a Mets game at Citifield. Please, come and show your support.   

              This year our annual family retreat at Santorini will be held on August 20th to the 22nd.  There will be more information at this upcoming meeting. 

              The Electchester Street Fair will be held on Sunday June 6, 2010 in Flushing Queens.  We will be looking for volunteers to help out that day. More information will be given at this months meeting. Please come and show your support, thank you. 

              The S.I.E.S Annual Family Day is scheduled to be held at the Richmond County Bank Ball Park. This is home of the Staten Island Yankees. For more Information please see flyer on back.  

              The Jose Lopez Scholarship Award Applications will be available at this months meeting.

              The 2010 Annual Club Dues are due. This year the annual fee will remain at $30.   Please make checks and money orders payable to Santiago Iglesias Educational Society, for further information please see Michael Felipe.  Thank you for your support.                                                                                    

              Every month there is a cover charge at the door for $15 which includes the food, door prize and 50/50 raffle. Thank you for your support.
